These terms govern bookings and services provided by Tahiti Sea Escape.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to services marketed by Tahiti Sea Escape, including sea excursions, whale watching trips, fishing trips, surf trips, surf watching, Tahiti By Boat and private expeditions.
Any booking implies that the customer has read and accepted these terms in the version applicable at the time of booking.

Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the conditions under which Tahiti Sea Escape offers and provides its services to customers.
They apply to bookings made through the Tahiti Sea Escape website as well as bookings confirmed directly with Tahiti Sea Escape.
Services offered
Tahiti Sea Escape offers various sea experiences and excursions departing from Tahiti.
The main characteristics of each service, its indicative duration, capacity, price and included services are presented on the page corresponding to the selected experience.
Certain private or tailor-made services may be subject to a personalized program and price.
Prices
The applicable prices are those displayed on the website or communicated to the customer at the time of booking.
Tahiti Sea Escape reference prices are expressed in Pacific francs (XPF).
When the website displays another currency, the conversion is provided for information purposes according to the rate applied by the currency conversion service used.
For tailor-made services, a specific price may be established according to the duration, program and services requested.
Booking
The customer must provide the information required to organize the trip and ensure that the information provided is accurate.
The booking becomes effective once confirmed by Tahiti Sea Escape and, where required, once the corresponding payment has been validated.
The number of participants may not exceed the maximum capacity indicated for the booked service.
Payment
Payment is made using the payment methods offered at the time of booking.
When payment is made online, it is processed by the payment providers available on the website.
Tahiti Sea Escape does not directly store the complete banking information used to make the payment.
Cancellation by Tahiti Sea Escape
Except in cases of force majeure, Tahiti Sea Escape may be required to cancel or postpone a service no later than 72 hours before the originally scheduled departure time.
In this situation, Tahiti Sea Escape will, where possible, offer the customer a new date.
If no alternative date can be agreed, the amounts paid for the cancelled service will be refunded.
Force majeure
In the event of force majeure making it impossible to provide the service under the planned conditions, Tahiti Sea Escape may postpone or cancel the trip concerned.
Where possible, a new date will be proposed in agreement with the customer.
If no alternative date can be agreed, the amounts paid for the service that could not be provided will be refunded.
Conditions for carrying out trips
Sea activities depend on the conditions encountered on the day of the trip.
The itinerary, departure times, areas visited and certain activities may be adapted whenever necessary to ensure safety and the proper operation of the service.
Participants must follow the captain’s instructions and the safety rules communicated before and during the trip.
Encounters with wildlife cannot be guaranteed as they depend on the natural environment.
Liability
Each participant agrees to follow the instructions provided by Tahiti Sea Escape and to behave in a manner compatible with the safety of everyone on board.
Before the service, the customer must inform Tahiti Sea Escape of any particular circumstance that could affect their participation or the organization of the trip.
Personal data
Personal information collected in connection with an enquiry or booking is processed in accordance with the Tahiti Sea Escape Privacy Policy.
